whose kitchen floors finally got cleaned yesterday, so I made my kids eat their cereal bars on the front step.  I just wanted to enjoy clean floors for one morning.  They said the wanted to eat breakfast on the front porch every morning.  Uh-oh! ;)

rookie mistake

Apparently when a knitting pattern calls for size 7 circular needles, size 9 aren't really "close enough."  This hat is way too big on her.  Oh well - anyone with an older girl want a hat?

new baby

This African cow delivered a baby the day we visited the zoo.  Is it just because I'm a mom that I think this little thing is absolutely adorable? ;)
